His style isn't really my cup of tea, but musically this is certainly the best I've heard from them so far.

Talons I have and it's pretty good. I'm overall not the biggest fan of this band but they're good. I do enjoy IAW, their A Change Of Seasons and this a lot though.

I miss old Labrie

His vocals are epic here...Voices, The Mirror and Erotomania are as good as it gets with DT

This is probably LaBrie's best performance in my opinion. Although he's great on I&W, FII and Scenes too,
and maybe even Six Degrees, on this there is really no cringeworthy vocal moment at all.

Sorry I really can't find any appeal to him. His pitch is fine but other than that he's bland and annoying. *cocks shotgun*

His style is just what other metal vocalists were like at the time

Well yeah, he definitely isn't the greatest singer, not even near that, but personally, on the first couple of albums I don't mind his voice, I even appreciate it most of the time; which is a thing I didn't think I could ever do. He started getting bland and annoying on ToT for me

His soft vocals have always been brilliant, but he's definitely had much better performances than that
