Power metal deserves its own category of terribleness.

I remember the first time I heard Pull Me Under. There was exactly one tiny venue in my hometown that regularly had hard rock/metal bands perform (every Friday night) when I was in high school and my friends and I used to go every weekend. Bands played 30 min sets of mostly covers but some of these bands were really good. I remember one of them playing Pull Me Under and thinking that the chuggy riff in the intro was the heaviest thing I'd ever heard and that I couldn't wait to go home and learn how to play the whole intro.

In hindsight, that night was pretty life-changing.

Very nice Sitar. And yea, this one was also pretty influential for me. I think I was about 14 when my brother introduced me to it. I was under its spell instantly, spun it on repeat for ages, and when Awake was released I was just so excited. Never forget how deep their music drew me in... This feeling will never fade no matter what they come up with in future.
