I started on Neurosis like 16 or 17 years ago, before they released A Sun That Never Sets and this was my inaugural act. I still remember my eyes popping out the first time I heard The Doorway.

sweet dude
my first experience w/ neurosis was 6 or 7 years ago, jammed through silver in blood. I imagine the look on my face then was the same as yours was

Yeah man, at the time we were deep ass into Kyuss, Tool and all that and suddenly this came out of nowhere and destroyed us. Then we got into Isis and all that hydra head records madness of the time. Some other friends became Relapse and Earache records addicts, you know lol

hell yeah dude...heard of ISIS and subsequently saw them when they toured w/ Tool in 06 I believe...then saw them at a small hole in the wall in Iowa City in 07. they were great w/ tool but tool was pretty lifeless. then the little show I saw them at in 07 was probably my fav show ever

Man I would I have loved to see Isis live at that time, I mean we have Sumac now which is awsm, but goddamn Isis was an incredible band. I guess you know Old Man Gloom?

I do...working around to ape of god I and II atm, but I like OMG yea. seminar III was amazing
also getting around to the new Sumac...been slackin on newer turner stuff lol, gotta stop that.
but yeah, ISIS was incredible. Imagine seeing ISIS and them starting off in this tiny, dark, packed, sweaty venue w/ So Did We. I literally just about died
