I used to have an issue years ago with this being boring and overlong, but the album definitely grew on me over time and now it's my second favorite behind Way of All Flesh

The only thing that drags is the first 3 or 4 minutes of Flying Whales but when that riff kicks in for the second half it’s an absolute banger. A good 85% (made up statistic) of this album rips and the rest of it is there to make the heavy bits hit harder basically.

Heavy, beastly, but unoriginal, and tedious at 66 minutes long.

Name another band who sounds like Gojira? Silly summary indeed.

I never understood the constant Cave In references in the review... don’t really hear many similarities between the two

I mean, nowadays a lot of bands sound like Gojira, but Gojira made the brand no doubt XD silly rev overall. But it's ok, he did not like this and explained why...

Meshuggah in terms of the chuggy grooves they settle into sometimes, but even that's a stretch.

I mean, a lot of bands use riffs, or have songs that reminds you of Gojira...but it's because Gojira exists lol
