Siamese is my favorite, but this really isn't very far behind, and Adore is excellent as well. I need to hear Disc 2 again some more, some beautiful stuff there I haven't jammed in a while.

By Starlight just clicked for me hard. Another example of how you find new stuff on this album with each listen.

after many years, I realized I like this more than Siamese Dream.

Thought the day would never come

siamese dream was once incredible for me, but it lost its luster over time........this, on the other hand, has been strong throughout

Siamese Dream has my 1st and 3rd favorite Pumpkins songs, my 2nd favorite isn't on any of their albums... non album single.

"If anyone has the chance to pick up the vinyl for this I highly recommend it. Its really kinda expensive but the packaging is awesome and the artwork/lyric books are just beautiful. It sounds sweet too."

Like, how sweet does it sound? Cuz the actual CDs are a little quiet in comparison to other albums I own.

This is the only pumpkins I'll listen to.

Hopelust- I would assume a vinyl reprint would sound better? I have the 2014 cd remastered of this and it sounds amazing, and didn't this not get a proper vinyl press until like the last couple years or something?

Damn right bud, nearly every tune except the odd country inclusions ruled. 'Seasons' by Cornell is hauntingly good.

it's hard for me to choose between this & siamese dream since they're both operating on different levels

sd was going for this pristine, perfect kind of sound while this was basically putting the live band on record, with a "warts & all" kind of approach

almost more comparable to earphoria in that regard, honestly

song for song i have to go with this one most of the time; but man, the album with soma, mayonaise, and hummer is gonna be yer favorite pumpkins album some days out of the year
