I laughed when i heard the first 10 seconds off of I think it was Detonation. The CD got so horrible i regretted wasting the time burning it onto one my friend's blank cds. I never liked Trivium(cuz i dont like Metallica) but this has got to be one of the biggest let downs ever.

this is full of sweet riffs and solos, but its all totally ripped from the thrash masters of years past. Seriously, come up with your own shit, the metallica influence is too much for me. Being influenced by a band like metallica is fine, but trivium takes it way too far; wasted potential i'd say.

I never heard this album, but it seems that this band did the same thing as Avenged Sevenfold. Release a kick ass album and then release a complete suck fest after that.

Great Review. I love Trivium, and I praise them for having the balls to make music that they like even at the extent of losing fans like myself. They simple need to scream. God put Matt on this Earth to scream since in my opinion he has the scream out there. Aside from that the music is not bad. Screaming would have made it much better.
