Hell yeah bro, Looks Like Nothing and Gratitude are literally number 1 and number 2 on my favorite Foxing songs ever list. Lyrically, compositionally, vocally… just fucking top form for these guys.

Again I’m just really holding out hope they’ll do a little headline tour this fall/winter. Or at least a hometown show for the STL natives

Gratitude is a contender if i made a Foxing song ranking myself, but i can understand why it may be excluded from livesets as well because it must get very challenging to sing it live and often if they do shows almost everynight etc!

Would love to see them play Hall of Frozen Heads or Greyhound. Barking too would be very nice and not as diffucult in the vocal department.

The Medic and Rory are good songs and popular as well. I like them a lot but id rather see anything from this or NMG tbh

Currently sitting at the Chicago show waiting for TBS to come on. Foxing crushed it! Was surreal seeing them play on such a large stage after years of seeing them at bars and small venues. Odd song picks off this album but I thought their screaming sounded real great for my first time hearing them let it rip.

Yeah, I was very glad to see some Foxing fans show out for the concert here in STL. Conor said something about “we know you’re not here for us” and some drunk guy shouted “YES WE FUCKING ARE” and that actually got a decent amount of applause.

We weren’t the only people that left immediately after either. The ticket guy at the front said that we were like the fourth group of people that left so we weren’t alone in that for sure.

Again I’m not shitting on either TBS or Coheed, it just makes me happy that the weird little group of people that love these guys were willing to dish out more money than we should’ve to see them play six songs lol

That comment from Conor makes me sad. Mostly because he's probably right for the majority of people there. Foxing rules though and should be headlining their own tours. Hopefully they're at least making some bank by touring with TBS and Coheed.

They’re definitely gaining fans. Maybe a headlining tour is up next for them at some bigger venues… or at least they’ll actually sell out the ones they just played at last tour.

btw their setlist for the headliner they did in Grand Rapids was fucking whack… but only four songs off this and one of them was Barking? And the other three are the three they’re already playing? cmon guys.

I’m sorry but I have absolutely zero desire to see them play almost every song on either of their first two albums. Honestly outside of Rory and The Medic for Albatross, and Eiffel, Night Channels, and maybe Magdalene on Dealer, I truly don’t give a shit.

I do enjoy those albums but Nearer My God, Draw Down The Moon, and especially this are just such a massive step up.

Agreed. Each album has its place in their lore but NMG and S/T are a major level up (and DDTM is great too)

If I was at their show and they played Inuit as the encore I would feel so blue balled. For all that talk of hating the 10th anniversary tour it sure seems like they still wanna play those songs.

I really don’t need to see them play Inuit for the fifth time. And Weave is such a weird way to open a show. You have 737, Grand Paradise, and Secret History in your back pocket, open with some energy man. If they do a full headline tour I pray that this is not gonna be the setlist.

Ideal 12 song setlist (i dunno what a normal length is it's been ages since I've been to a show lol) would be:

Secret History

Hell 99

Gratitude

Grand Paradise

Lich Prince

Gameshark

737

Draw Down The Moon

If I Believed in Love

Greyhound

Encore:

Looks Like Nothing

Nearer My God

It’s about 16 so just add one more new song, Rory, The Medic, and the obligatory Dealer song and you’ve got a damn good setlist

Personally I’d add Go Down Together. They went full pop and I love it.

Our tastes line up pretty damn close with Foxing lol

If I get 16 songs I'd be adding Lambert, Hall of Frozen Heads, Bastardizer, and Speak With The Dead before anything from their first two albums lmao.

But I get it, it needs to be realistic...

I would still include a few songs from their first two records, I do genuinely love The Medic, Rory, and Eiffel, and Night Channels will always hold a very special place in my heart. Everything else is completely disposable to me, at least compared to their newer shit.

Personally I think having Grand Paradise, 737, and Secret History all in one show would be a little weird… so one of them has to go even if I love all three.

737 works so perfectly as an album opener but it’s a weird fit anywhere in a setlist. I wouldn’t really be surprised if we never see it again.

Personally I’d fucking love if they just played this entire thing all the way through, take a five minute break, and come back out for some of the hits. That’s what they did for the record release show for DDTM in STL.

Pretty clear that won’t happen tho, I cannot imagine Conor wants to ever sing Cleaning.

Same. This album is an all-timer for me, so if they decided to play it front to end I'd be ecstatic

I’ve said it before but I think it’s literally my favorite album of all time. We’re far enough out (oh fuck it’s been a year jesus h christ) that I feel comfortable saying that. I legitimately can’t think of an album I like more. I’ve relistened to every album I have given a 5 to, and now a shit ton of records from this year.

Bare minimum album of the decade so far.

I know people hate Dead Cat, think Cleaning is boring… whatever. Taken as an entire record tho, the sequencing is just pitch perfect. There is not a single thing I would change about this album.

The dream would be to have them play two nights here and knock out like 30-35 songs. I would empty my (admittedly paltry) savings to make that happen.

100% agreed. I would say this is my AOTD, and is up there with The Devil and God and A Black Mile to the Surface as all-time favorites. It very well could be my absolute favorite, but it's tough to say after 1 year when the other few in contention have had a decade-ish to settle or longer.
