Festival recordings never amazed me, Serj was always somehow inconsistent and stuff ... I really think this doesn't sound bad tbh. It's very different from the studio stuff and he's clearly avoiding the really crazy stuff, but he manages this very well. Do you know James Labrie? THAT'S a singer who fucked up his voice haha
