I have no idea why, but Thanks Nobuo is probably my least favorite song here now. It has all the pieces in place (even the P3 callbacks) but I'm not feeling it the way I felt Lune or Satellites. It's inexplicable. It wants to be as emotionally captivating and weighty but it comes off more over-the-top than usual. It's trying to be too many things at once, I think.
