There are honestly a couple songs that I could do without
Then there's a handful of good ones and a handful of great ones

Holy Hell Trif, fully agreed.
"Broken Cog" is incredibly atmospheric, full blown hypnotic, one of my fav. piece.
"The abysmal Eye" is a masterpiece.
4.6, still growing crawling style. In the middle of another complete jam.
Their is some very intense, very solid, background music structure. People definitely need to listen to this album with HQ headphones, volume high, such a blast.

"Kaleidoscope" is such an elegant simple & very effective piece, pure Meshuggah power.

Still love this. Guitars sound incredible on headphones. Nice and warm.
That increeeeeeedible groove in God He Sees In Mirrors 😵 Sounds like a mixture between Nothing and Chaosphere. Also They Move Below is growing on me.

i took a break for a few days and loving it now. its more like a 4.5 but the low ave annoys me so i 5d it lol
ligature marks, kaleidoscope, phantoms, god he sees in mirrors are stunning (completely random was watching blade runner 2049 while listening to this and it worked so good together haha. )

I'm holding back on the 5 rating as a way to suppress the fanboy in me, but I enjoy this album's diversity and creativity and will most likely bump it back up soon.

"What's the tracks you could do without ford?"
I'm not Ford, but the last track could be trimmed and there's an argument to be made for They Move Below being trimmed too, but every song here fucks hard
About to have back and bicep day and I'm gonna blast this shit straight into my earholes, just like every day since this came out

After several listens I've concluded that this is one of their strongest albums.

Agree it’s one of their strongest and agree with Lucca. For me it would be shorten TMB and cut Past Tense

I still can't with Below, how long it is and where it's placed. It either annoys me that it's in the way of going right from Mirrors to Kaleidescope and keeping things moving, or I don't even pay attention to it.
The closer is fine I guess but I don't think the album would be worse off without it.

fair takes in here but i just never notice the length of Below. it's moreso the number of tracks that bog this down ever so slightly for me, rather than the length of any particular track. album just pulls me in, definitely one of their strongest. i feel it has more character than TVSOR and maybe even Koloss as much as i love that one

Get Black Cathedral and Past Tense the fuck outta here tbh
They Move Below is just ok as an instrumental too
Those are literally the only weak spots on this one. Everything else ranges from cool to phenomenal
