Man I hope their new album is good. Them recording it on and off, running behind schedule and cancelling a tour is all red flags to me though  On top of that I don't know if not finding a second guitarist was the right move

the biggest complaint I have is most of the heavier songs. What makes Deftones work so well is they balance Stephs fucking 20 string guitar with spacey atmosphere and chinos vocals.
This band just doesn’t do it as well.
