Stunned at this average, though it's cool. Not sure why this album has been so much better received than Pale Horses, though. I'm not sure where I rank Untitled in their discog, but I can't see any glaring difference in quality between this and PH.

I just recently jammed Pale Horses for the first time and it was amazing, surprising to me considering the average for it was lower than some of their other stuff
also, “[Dormouse Sighs]” has become one of my favorites from this album, love the song a lot

Wendy&Betsy + Michael were the hardest to jam with the lyrics for me. I lost Michael somewhere after the "can't paddle anymore" line and only caught up with ANDAVANAY

Though in fairness, PH is one of the growiest growers ever, whereas this has a lot more immediate 'epic' value. The vibe of PH for me is very much of stagnation and confusion, with an apocalyptic slant, so it's easy to see how it's an acquired taste
