How many more years do you have in your sightseer phase I can’t for it to end

got some time to work on the almighty neverending genre ranking and realised that i can't throw adequate sass at grunge without having ticked off all the big 4
also today is the start of metal month, and it'll probably make dadkungfu's rec sound better

after this ranking is over there will be no more sightseeing and i will revert to my true form as a beached dolphin with a bad giggle issue

What’s next? Audioslave?

Audioslave and DragonForce are the two bands where I really do start to wonder if all guitar music might be a wash

all power to fans of either band but those were the two I quite liked at first (i.e. age 15) and then just became viscerally repelled by. didn't mean to imply they were templates

I've barely heard any Audioslave, although I remember them boring me when I was a kid and considering how low my threshold for 'interesting rock music' was back then, I can't imagine age would improve their chances much
