No trolling intended; this band sold the fuck out and I wouldn't care so much if they just admitted it. I said it Before I would do the same thing. Release one commercially accessible album and then an album that appeals to the fan base that had my back for ten years. But to say in interviews that this transition was natural is in my opinion dishonest.

Eh, I don't think it's that much of a leap, really, and I barely keep up with them. Bands get softer as they get older and that is especially true if they were always a poppier band that feigned aggression.

I sort of like Doomed and Oh No. Follow You, Avalanche, and Drown are great.

True Friends and Happy Song are among the worst songs they've ever recorded, as well as the collab with that rapper that was so poorly received that they didn't even include on here lol.

The rest is pretty middle-of-the-road to decently enjoyable. It's grown on me over time tbh.

"Follow You" and "Drown" are the ones that stuck with me the most.

I've heard good albums, but this is a magnificently incredible record. Once you soak it in completely, that is.

This is probably gonna be my choice for WOTY. I suppose there were more unpleasant albums I listen to this year, but nothing compares to this monumental drop in quality. And I wasn't even that much of a BMTH fan to begun with. This is just sloppy, boring, and uninspired in the worst way possible.

Drown, Doomed and one or two other songs are tight, the rest either suck or are just sorta meh

really this is anywhere between a 2 and a 3 for me but i cant be assed to listen to it anymore to decide, i just occasionaly jam Drown and might give this a relisten in a few months or something

Drown and True Friends have followed me around in the last few months for some reason, always seem to hear them on the radio, in shops, etc.
I honestly don't care enough to listen to a full album, every now and then I'll hear a single like Shadow Moses and think it's decent.
