I feel ya on the lyrics thing. Certain parts need a bit more oomf - like the "college" part. But yeah, the hollow body guitar and cello are delightful. Also listened to a few other covers on Spotify, but that was probably my favorite. Also found a Modest Mouse song I'd never heard, "Dead End Job at the Dead Letter Office", which was an old song apparently that was officially rerecorded and released in 2011 on a charity album
