If you're there deconstructing an album on technicalities and critising imperfections or unaccepting of particular values that the album itself holds, failing to take on board the magnitude of the thing for what it is you're missing out on the magic that makes us fans of music. Either that or you're a Rush fan.

It's like being a lecturer of music at some high brow music academy. You can wax lyrical about it all you want and point people in the right direction, while being some oracle on music theory but if you don't understand it in your bones you might as well be sweeping the corridor.
