"This is not black metal."
Fight me.
Aha but I dunno, the corpse paint, all of the Satanic imagery (which can be found in DM but their approach seems more BM here), the guitar tone and the vocals all feel way more black metal here than death metal.
Like i said, not so much between Thelma 6 and this, but this feels like "black metal with death metal influences" (what clansman said)

Disagree on the guitar tone and vocals. BM tends to go for higher registers (trebly guitars and shrieky vocals) which this doesn't really do at all

I guess to be fair he goes back and forth sometimes where it seems more death metal on some verses and more bm on others
It's definitely a mix

So it is settled: Behemoth is death metal.
Yes we knew that from the beginning, but it was good to discuss it and achieve objective certainty.
