k ill give homie the benefit of the doubt, it just threw me off half way through. the part that was truly annoying for me was he rapped about the same exact material that he explored in xxx in the opposite format (serious first-half party second-half vs vice versa) but with flashier production. float on stands out as being a chiller song.

he talks about it in an interview, part a of old comes first, then xxx, then part b of old

i get what youre saying 'why call it old if the second half is new' idk bro youd have to ask him

ODB definitely should have been the closer, still a shame it didn't make the cut

It'd be hard to rank Danny's discog for me. This might be my favorite of his, then XXX and THEN Atrocity Exhibition which is still great but its deep cuts are overshadowed by stellar singles.

I felt that way initially but after constantly listening I feel like that order has flipped now and I'd put Atrocity first then XXX then Old. However, this album may have the most replay value.

The only Atrocity Exhibition songs that I dont care for are Today and Lost. Although Dance in the Water is sort of repetitive the bass is killer so that redeems that track for me.

XXX>AE>Old

Pretty easy for me. Even though XXX and AE are both 5s, XXX just has the classic beats/lines.

could work, personally I love it as a closer and I know that's where Danny wanted it to go but up to you

if we're throwing out songs though, the only expendable one here is Way Up Here, that ab-soul verse is weak
