''there is no irony i said check em''

Oh... Ok. Of course I've checked The Beatles, what kind of indication is that?

After 60 pages of comments, it's fortunate we aren't talking about how roosters fuck.

I believe, that more often than not, poor lyrics are indicative of low IQ or/and illiteracy.

@KILL I appreciate them at low amounts, meaning, I do, but not too much. I like the Doors more.

A good introduction for GY!BE is the slow riot EP. Moya is one hell of a song. That or listen to the first 6 minutes of Lift Your Fists. You won't be disappointed

All GY!BE albums are hard growers, but they're definitely worth it. Better when you just lay down and only listen to it not doing anything else though

I've only rated Slow Riot, because the albums are still growing on me slowly but surely.

Yeah, all of them started at a 3.5 for me, and now Lift Your Skinny Fists and F#A# are both 5'd. Allelujah is a solid 4 though

I like parts of it so far, and I listen to them alone cos some other parts don't really appeal to me too but, I realise it's not an album anyone can immediately like

One of the greatest albums to listen for relaxation is Rites from Jan Garbarek. I discovered him recently. He's a saxophonist and a true musical genius.

Here's one song from the album. One of the greatest I've listened to this year.

Ok maybe I'll check this out someday. But what I meant about "just lay down and only listen to it not doing anything else" is that you have to concentrate on the music and enter Godspeed's "universe" to fully enjoy their albums imo.

Yeah, I got that. But it's also the nature of the music that is soothing

That's the only way of listening to it. It's not people music and when I tried listening to Sleep by itself, it felt detatched
