I love FoaBP but I like how Wilson doesn't sing as much over the metal parts on here, like Blackest Eyes and Wedding Nails, as opposed to the Fear of a Blank Planet t/t. His thin reedy voice is better suited to the lighter sections.

Some big happenings. They have a bandcamp page now. With lots of rare stuff.

This may have aged slightly better than Foabp as a whole but the metal parts on Foabp are fucking timeless to me

@teamster Nah, I don't think they will do something bigger than release back catalogue. I hope I'll be proven wrong. But that's just what I feel. With the quarantine situation many artists give small treats and I believe it's in the same vein, sth to remain relevant.

Myth - I guess I misread the post from Gavin Harrison’s facebook page.

International Popstar Steven Wilson doesn't seem interested in reviving PT unfortunately :/ Sometimes I wonder how new material from PT would sound like. Hype would reach Tool levels of cringe.

Nah, but it's got cool songs. Nothing touches the emotional burden of Deadwing. Fuck, when I listened to the b-side ''Half-Light'' my sould was crushed to pieces.

That's his niche as a creator, and he intended to do it a long time ago, but there was an accident. The creator had a remastertape, but he left it in a cab.

Yes, fuck those two remasters.

Original Damnation and Deliverance sound way better.

Deadwing needed it more than this, but yeah it sounds really good. It is Steven afterall. To The Bone also sounds amazing
