cause calc is pretty much just straight up mathcore, they literally make no attempt to make it catchy or melodic in any
way, the entire appeal of it is just have insanely complex and intense it is
they actually started fusing melody with the face melting complexity on MM though which makes it a lot easier to get into
for someone who's new to their style

not really kman. i mean yea CI is insane and mindfucking but what i like about it is the melodies it has. not typical "melodic" ones but dissonant and atonal ones plus the fucking amazing vox. but yea i get what you're saying
