loveless is the strongest release for sure, I've come to recognize that. in fact it sort of is a greatest hits comp lol you're right...but there's a couple of songs I might shitcan in favor of better ones from isn't anything, the EPs, and this

She Found Now would make it to the top five for sure. Plus that was the last song he wrote for mbv so it shows he still has it.

Kevin Shields rewrote the history books w this shit. Not even worthy of it, but I love it.

Eh, that’s a bit harsh. There are some artists where their full albums tend to only be of relatively middling quality even though there are highlights on each. In some of these cases I can see why someone might want a greatest hits, especially in the predigital age. Today yeah they’re kind of useless, that I’ll give you.

That's because spotify exists.

I highly recommend Human Amusements at Hourly Rates by Guided by Voices.

amused at how the tracklist on sput has the opener as "She Found Out"...

I know I'm (mostly) alone here, but
this > Loveless > Isn't Anything
I can't decide if I like this or You Made Me Realise more. The final three tracks on YMMR are better than any single track here, but all nine tracks on this are better than the first two of YMMR.

| |
YES you have done well apart from She Found Now, Who Sees You and If I Am are three of the top 5 MBV tracks

Yeah I cant dig the second track of YMMR its just so melodically boring for a band that always succeeds in that department. This album shows off their mastery the best.

Can't imagine thinking this is better than Loveless

I never remember I should check this. Have been into Loveless for fifteen years or so by now, but never bothered to check their other albums. Maybe this comment will help Trif of the future.
