Took me a good while too, so worth it though.

I'd say it was a slow progression, got better each time.

Gotta say I never really understood the viewpoint that this was a particularly difficult album to get into. My tastes are well and truly rooted in the mainstream and accessable and I loved it on my 3rd listen. I remember the title track being the one sticking point though

Oh hell yeah man. Kid A was the first track to kick me in the balls.

Yeah, hearing Thom's opening vocal on that for the first time is probably my most memorable 'WTF?' moment in music. Well, either that or Hulkster in Heaven....

The piano in Kid A is so touching, in a dark and eerie way.

Listened to this once when walking home through a snowstorm. 'Twas epic. Can't think of an another album where the cover fits the music inside so perfectly

I totally agree with you, and that's part of the genius of this album. I dunno why it fits the album it just does. Radiohead are insane.

Pretty sure they'll never top this. Not sure they'll even try to. Dare I say it, I really think KoL will be their last release in an album format

So inside the tortured mind of Thom Yorke in fact lies a cynical, manipulative marketing exec? Who knew?

It's Radiohead. And it's Thom Yorke, his mind is full of endless possibilities.

And I know I'm paranoid and neurotic, I've made a career out of it
