My second opinion on this is pretty much just that this is one of my least favorite 3.5's, almost 3.0 level to me. I really enjoy a lot of songs in here, a majority in fact. But there's always something bringing it down, a lot of songs on here have much simpler lyrics, a lot of songs here don't use the atmosphere as well as Long Drive, a lot of songs here just don't add to the album, the album doesn't feel as claustrophobic or tit knit as LCW.
IDK. I really do enjoy a majority of songs, and 3rd Planet/Dark Center/Tiny Cities/A Different City/The Cold Part/Lives/ and Like Weeds are all top tier material. Other songs like Gravity, Perfect, and Alone come close too but not close enough. I just felt like a majority of the tracks on LCW were amazing standalones, whereas i can say that here but not with a majority of the tracks.
