This and Sin After Sin are their best for me. I don't understand why people lose their minds so much over Sad Wings, it's just "another great Priest album" in my eyes and they have quite a few. Granted I don't use the word great lightly, I still mean it. Dreamer Deceiver is the only song that goes beyond that imo.

Victim of Changes? Tyrant? Ripper?

Victim of Changes, Tyrant and Dreamer Deceiver are, by far, among JP's best songs

"Victim of Changes? Tyrant? Ripper?"

All great songs as I said, I'm not saying that they are not. I just don't see why Victim of Changes is considered a masterpiece while no one cares for Run of the Mill or Dying to Meet You which for me are just as good if not even more interesting.

SW is for sure a great album but then again so are the majority of Priest's offerings up to Defenders. Basically I'm just arguing that it's not my favorite lol (and I started it).

Run of the Mill is probably one of the most popular 70's Priest songs among those who appreciate their 70's material

Fuck Priest for never playing it live tho

Yeah but I think that the rest of the debut isn't as far behind as it is made out to be, especially Dying to Meet You. Cheater~Dying is my favorite streak of Priest songs after Savage~Heroes End.

This opinion may be as unpopular as much as it blows my mind that it is considered as such haha

First half of the Winter Suite and Never Satisfied are amazing

Dying to Meet You's great too though I prefer the two I mentioned and especially Run of the Mill which is one of my favorite Priest songs

I agree that the album deserves way more attention though, even if it's pretty inconsistent

I'm dumb, I meant Saints in Hell~Heroes End. Saints in Hell is my favorite Priest song, I'll proceed to slap myself for that mistake.

Winter Retreat is a misfire yeah, can't disagree.
