Beatles For Sale is not a great record, but No Reply/Baby's In Black/Eight Days is a power trinity
record is about on a level with Peppers and a hard 3

I will say Baby’s In Black is underrated though.
Fair play.

Nah predates help even! Such a cool guitar part and the tone is 👌 Beatles for Sale took a heavy L leaving that off

Enjoyable album. This and For Sale work for me, everything else prior to this doesn't atm.

HELP has some great/iconic tracks but has always felt like a mere sketch to me. This, on the other hand, is a work of art.

BTW, I deleted my old "fave user" lists. They did more harm than good.
There's too many cool people on this site anyway.
And yes, this and For Sale are among the few Beatles albums I can honestly say I enjoy. I generally can't stand happy-go-lucky Beatles, I seem to enjoy their folkier/moodier side more.

"carve your number on my wall and maybe you will get a call from me" gotta be the coldest line from the entire 60s. George a savage
