Really great album. The riffage in this album just pounds out your ears and screams thrash. The vocals are even good too unlike most other thrash acts out there at the time. But then again when are vocals important in thrash? The only two complaints I have is the length of the songs (The Thing That Should Not Be) and the terrible Solos. Yeah, some are OK but most of them are just really fast blues/pentatonic scales. IDK why I hate them so much, probably just because I'm so critical of Mr. Hammett and his playing in general lol.

The most overatted album in metal history. Metallica is Ok, ill give them that, but If you really think that metallica and salyer and the rest of the big four are the final word on thrash, not only do you lack knowlege of the genre, but you also display characterisitcs of a poser, a follower, and a fool. i dont care how you look at it, from technicality, to musicianship there are numerous thrash bands that were more talented than the big four. they just didnt get any credit. it seems like all some people know is what mtv put in their heads.
