agree that all nightmare long should be an instrumental, when he starts singing it goes a bit to hell, and the damned thing goes on for 5+ minutes, song should be smaller as well, i think metallica was trying to hard with writting music here

The same goes for In Flames fans that always complain that the "new" album isn't melodic death metal anymore...

I like in flames albums and they are not Melodic DM for ages.

I really enjoyed Death magnetic (and Unforgiven 3) without trying to know if it was Thrash or hip hop or if the production sucks (as anyone says). I like first 7 tracks so it's a 4 stars album to me !

I'm not professional enough to judge the production, as i said before I like a lot of tracks here and, as a simple listener, I don't find anything to say on the production of these tracks (cos it's true i don't understand a thing in production). It's all that matters to me.

Pretty good album. That Was Just Your Life, Broken, Beat & Scarred and The Day That Never Comes are great and The End Of The Line is catchy as fuck. Not a fan of the production though. Also Thrash purists should avoid this album at all costs
