I was rocking out to Vol. 3 today for the billionth time. I've had a template for a review in my head now for the last three months.

For me this feels like an uninspired version of Vol: 3, still cutting back on the Nu-metal influence in favor of standard metal, but with weak songwriting and not nearly the same intensity

This feels heavy for the sake of being heavy without any interesting ideas. I like the more mellow tracks on Vol 3, such as Circle and Danger, but the more subtly aggressive tracks are also great, like Prelude 3 or Vermillion

from a scary-as-fuck big-ass dude in a halloween mask who's constantly giving you stare-downs.
