There's also a band called Ardour Loom whose new lp sounds basically like a re-arranged Two Hunters. So if you like this then you might want to check that too, once the full lp leaks.

I thought it was a post rock track until the vocals and double bass came in

why... would you look at that url and think it was for a music stream? And this album is super easy to find on youtube if you want to listen to it. Unless you really do just want a physical copy...

Metal fans are geeks by definition. If you listen to a lot of metal and are not willing to admit that

you're a geek then you're probably just a Pantera or metalcore kid, in which case plz gtfo.

This genre reeks of Lord of the Rings and other fantasy/sci-fi worship. If you're not a geek after

listening to Summoning or Burzum then you need to re-evaluate your priorities in life.

This is both the album that got me into black metal, and my favorite bm album to this day.

I don't remember what album or song it was, but I remember a friend of mine told me to check out Dissection after he showed me Agalloch for the first time, and I was blown away. If you don't want to count Not Unlike the Waves as Black Metal (which I wouldn't either), then I guess that Dissection album was what got me into BM.

hvis will always have a place in my heart as the album that got me into bm and as my favorite bm album of all time (unless there will be an album that tops it, which i doubt)
