I said this in another thread but songs like Albatross, Buried But Breathing, and especially Dead and Farewell Note to This City make me wonder how these guys would sound if they ran with that more screamo sound instead of leaning closer to metal
Damn near flawless discog. All 11 records, Poacher Diaries, the Y2K (good god I love that Disintegration cover), I Can Tell You About Pain, and Beautiful Ruin EPs, and the b sides compilations, just fucking everything man. Not a single dud or misstep anywhere. I’m struggling to think of a single song I don’t like. Maybe just Endless Arrow, and even that gave me the impression that Kurt was just bored during lockdown and wanted to try something different. Probably over 200 songs across 30 years that are almost nothing but straight fire.
When they finally decide to call it a day the gods will weep.

I know dude.
Dead and Farewell Note to This City are also mint, Forsaken literally just feels like a (quality) extension of Saddest Day… Albatross and Buried But Breathing are kinda on the weaker side I guess but they’re about 2 minutes put together… Shingles I’ll give you, I never really loved that song and it’s easily my least favorite here.
