I find it ridiculous that somehow the layer of distortion is supposedly the difference between this being

commercially successful and being a superb album, according to the review summary. A layer of fuzz doesn't

make an album deep or give it extra meaning. It is annoying, and that is all there is to it. If this album

didn't have it, I'd still only rate 3/5. The music itself isn't that good.
