Into Karma Police? Do people still love that record or overplayed?

Glad you said that. Could be the best second half to a song of all time.

I really, really don't like No Surprises - really wish it hadn't made the album.

Just can't get with it at all. Playing the album in the car and I had to skip it. The xylophone notes grate on me, lol. Suppose it's just one of them. Karma Police is a Radiohead monster.

It's a good song but basically nothing interesting happens for the first 3/4 of it, making it worse than nearly anything else here

I love how bloody morose the thing is. Makes Pyramid Song sound like the Superman Song

Karma Police is a serious, serious highlight for me. I love the build up to the drum fill and then boom!

The band did say there's one song they can't stand to listen to/play anymore from this album - has to be No Surprises.

Too much exposure to that song is going to get you staring wistfully at the nearest railway bridge.

'The band did say there's one song they can't stand to listen to/play anymore from this album - has to be No Surprises.'
Not counting 'Fitter Happier' (for obvious reasons) or 'Electioneering' (the ubiquitous black sheep; they haven't played this song live in over a decade), the only song that didn't make an appearance on the AMSP tour was 'Subterranean Homesick Alien', I think. (Correct me if I'm wrong.)
Not sure when they made that statement above but for whatever reason they didn't feel the need to include 'SHA' on any of their set lists.

could be that one then - maybe because the return of the X-Files was so disappointing

My mum turned her nose up at that one when I was a young-un, based on the name alone... maybe that’s why?
