Who’s going to see them with Coheed and TBS?

I am going Tuesday! Super pumped to see Coheed and Foxing. Terrified of what my old favorites TBS will sounds like

The ticket would be worth it for Foxing alone, but Coheed and TBS make it even better (althoughthe latter has declined in quality, I bet they're still great at playing their hits live).

I really wish I could’ve gotten into either of them. I sincerely tried with Coheed but I just don’t like it. And I never really cared for Taking Back Sunday.



My buddy managed to get floor tickets for like half of what they were originally selling for so we’re all going for Foxing and leaving right after lol

This all feels like a culmination of everything theyve ever done, I hope they keep making music but if they’re done after this they left us with the best swan song ever

There was one year where I believe they were in a similar situation, opening for a respectable band who’s fans do not appreciate them, and then later that year they did a mini tour including a hometown show and some dates on the east coast… I can only hope they cook up something similar this fall/winter.



I’d hate for the only time I see them this year to be a 30 minute opening set for two bands I don’t like in 100°+ heat, but oh well. Unsurprisingly, they still crushed it.

Really all I wanted was maybe start the show earlier, give these boys 45 mins or so and let them play Looks Like Nothing and Gratitude alone with maybe something from DDTM.



I’m honestly so shocked they didn’t play Gratitude. Idk, it’s my favorite song, I am biased, but I really feel like that could’ve won a lot of the crowd over, plus they were doing all the “it’s cool to be playing in STL, our hometown.” type shit, I’d be shocked if they didn’t earn a few hundred more fans here at least.

Oh yeah they fucking crushed it. It’s just a shame that half the setlist was songs I’ve heard 6+ times before.



I was honestly shocked they played Secret History AND Hell 99, I didn’t really think the crowd would be receptive to tracks that heavy, especially with the screamed vocals. I haven’t listened to a ton of Coheed or TBS but I was under the impression that neither band had much (if any at all) screaming. Plus as much as I like Spit there’s like five other songs I would rather have heard on this record.

As a Coheed and TBS fan I can confirm that neither of their discographies have a single screamed section. Early TBS maybe a little bit of emo yelling.



I can’t believe that you name dropped looks like nothing and gratitude specifically because those are my two favorites off this. A bit bummed to see the 6 they picked. Oh well, excited to see them regardless
