Re: Stafford. Yeah I’m thinking it might be a wrap on his career. He’s definitely a trooper but I wish no lasting injury on any man. A rebuild seems all but inevitable at this point.
Re: Wilson - Unquestionably one of the worst trades in football history. To my possibly less educated mindset it’s become clear that Wilson’s glory years were a product of good coaching and a good scheme built around his strengths.

Baker does decently down the stretch and convinces the team to give him a shot as starter, the Rams waste 8-10 starts with him as starter and waste another season. That’s how it gets worse.
Not that the future outlook for the Rams is positive - they are absolutely fucked for the next 3-5 years.

Sometimes the best playoff runs come from a little bit of luck and a little bit of magic. It makes it impossible to gauge how they are as a team, but they're managing to walk away from the close games they'd normally lose in past years.

They will definitely be hardened to playing in close games, which should serve them well. I do feel like they've been in plenty of 4th Q knife-edge contests this year, a number of comebacks etc. Maybe that's why they don't seem as good as their record suggests, or maybe I just don't trust Cousins?

Really all this means is that this is either taking them to the Superbowl or all the close wins will eventually catch up to them. Dallas using them as toilet paper definitely wasn't encouraging.
