Love somst, but it's not an album so I didn't list it. Mostly love it for disintegration and closer. That bridge in closer man. I wish they went big like that these days. They're so rigid to traditional song structure these days.

wow, i don't think i could rank. but it'd be something like this, clarity, bleed as top 3, then some combination of static prevails, damage, invented, and chase this light. then s/t. It's just so difficult because there's a lot to like to about some of my least favorite ones, like Invented has some of their best songs but then some of their worst. and damage makes for a great listen all the way through even without some of the dynamics that made the old stuff great.

Damage is real good but it's exhaustive. they came in, did what they needed to do, and not much more. some great jams, a little thin towards the end, but all in all, i think it makes for a real awesome album. especially on vinyl, it feels right at home there. would love to hear more twinkly stuff from them soon.
