The dress is various shades of gray with a slight overtone of muddled white

My last 5 was A Moon Shaped Pool by Radiohead in mid-2016. I remember the exact moment I decided to 5 it. I was at work with a friend who also liked Radiohead and we were discussing how great of an album it was and that Radiohead was still at it, and I was just suddenly shook in that moment, and I knew. That album made me cry more than any other.
For this album I had just recently finished my third playthrough today when I got home, put the album on again but on shuffle while in the shower. The album still slays in shuffle; it's like a multi-fitting puzzle. Absolute world destroyers just kept coming. There isn't a single bad song or vibe on this album. The musicianship is S-class. Keith is a legend, ETID is god.

The way he adds a fittish twang to "EYYEE love" the last instance he says it, so many funny moments that make me love him.

This album feels triumphant, like they took everything they do great and put it all together with the best production they’ve ever had.
I get the same feeling listening to this as I did listening to tracks like All Hands off the last Protest The Hero where it felt like their whole career was building to this.

They took all that energy and added the finalizing writing, production and roundedness to it. I'm not kidding when I say this should be referenced in history books with Jane Doe if/when metalcore gets its place there. This is not just a 5, it's one of my stronger 5s, probably top 4 with Axe to Fall, CatchThirtyThree and Fables of the Sleepless Empire. It almost sounds like a spiritual sequel to Axe to Fall to me.

'they really went all out in making sure they did almost every possible style of song they could do on this one'
Watch it Storm, the homogony police will pile-in after a comment like that. This is anything but homogenous to me, but some people are beyond help it would seem.
'metalcore is so homogenie without kurt balloon amirite haha'
Lol, saying I don't like mxc 'apart from Converge' is almost meme-worthy by this point. Usually followed up by criticisms of said genre that can and do also apply to Ballou & Co. Converge rule btw, obvs. Just saying.
