Neeka if you really feel that way you desperately need to hear the pre-SWB material.

Well if this makes a 4.3 I'm gonna be forced to by my own rules next year

I'll try to do that before then (; Which should I start with?

I wouldn’t normally recommend this but since you’ve heard this and SWB already I’d suggest starting with Trouble Will Find Me and going in reverse chronological order. TWFM is most similar in vibe to this so it should go down pretty easily, going immediately to something like Alligator or even Boxer might be jarring. They’re all incredible though, at least from Alligator on, so you can’t go wrong!

Okay, I'll do my best (: I don't mind jarring!

And yeah fuck it this is a 4.3, "Where Is Her Head" gives it that extra push.

"Exactly! It's just hipster dad rock music. Unless you are one of those people who are easily pleased with a well-sung baritone, remotely decent lyrics, and boring drumwork, chances are, you will not enjoy it."

lol'd at this.

The drum sound on Rylan is really starting to annoy me. Down to two songs I actually enjoy.

Lol quiet light and rylan are the two most derivative, regressive songs here. Like someone input “Generic National Song” into an AI

To be fair, Pika, if you combine the Virginia ep with the cherry tree one, it's a pretty good listen.

Lol it’s a great song, just saying it’s pretty rote and doesn’t really excite me like some of the others here
