"Dude, all the songs I just named earlier from WDADU have those exact qualities."

Cas at this point it's not even your taste that's an issue as much as your ability to hear.

I think the common ground is that this conversation has gotten hella boring.

Dude, you're the one arguing that Dominici doesn't have a good sense of melody or tone yet he very clearly does.

If reedy ass vocalists straining to stay on pitch through entire songs while failing epically to write a single hook is your thing then that's your thing. I'm going to stop dignifying your love for Dominici with any responses.

People love to question my love for "whiny" vocals and I've gotten to the point where I just don't need to prove my taste to anyone because in the end it doesn't matter. I think you're failing to grasp the subjectivity of the situation Sitar.

Reedy is alright. I love Jon Anderson and Ross Jennings for instance. But those guys can write a memorable melody and don't struggle to stay on pitch.

I like vocals that sound like someone puking/dying/shitting out their mouth so I've learned not to judge others for having different vox tastes

The only way you can think there aren't memorable melodies on WDADU is if you never heard the album.
