Yeeeeeeah I caved and listened to III... holy shit. This album is going to ruin me.

Deafheaven has some serious competition for AOTY. Landlord made my jaw drop its so good.

Landlord is still the highlight for me on III. I thought Jordan sounded pissed on I but dear lord

Sibling Fistfight is up there as well, love when this band injects some pop influence

I wanna say it’s the best release thus far but Environmental Catastrophe Film is top 5 LD in quality so

this might end up being their crowning achievement, which would be an insane comeback after mostly falling out of relevance

their peak was 2009-2012

jordan sounds nothing like the highly emotional, unstable frontman on somewhere at the bottom of the river. it's like he's the older version looking back with a weathered scowl and bitterness

Wildlife is def their best but the new one could very well surpass it. These guys are on their fucking A game.

Landlord into Steve is unreal. Trying not to overplay the new songs but I couldn't be more impressed with what we've heard so far. If they stick the landing we're looking at a generational masterpiece
