Werid I think Wake me is probably one of the worst songs they have ever done from CHanging... until now and I definitely don't like ihateit.

A good portion of this album is still decent but overall it's meh which in my mind is a 2.5, maybe my internal rating system is broken, but if 1 is the absolute worst music you have ever heard in your life, this isn't really anywhere near that IMO, but I think 18 yr old me would have been pretty into this haha

The TOCS slander in this thread is abhorrent.

Yeah, but aside from those songs and Boy Brushed Red, the rest of the album is a slog to sit through. I think this album is much more consistent.

TOCS is like a 3.8 to me, it's pretty damn good but has its problems

you have a problem when Breaking Benjamin releases a better album than a well-respected band like this during the year

@SteakByrnes TOCS is like a 3.2 for me, while this is a solid 3.5. Not saying Erase Me is light years above TOCS, but like I said, aside from the classic tracks, it's pretty dull and the lyrics aren't any better than this one imo.

The new Breaking Benjamin is genuinely a complete step above this

Yeah, there's no song as good as "Psycho" on this.

TOCS is a certified hardcore 5 and best Underoath.

This is definately better than the new BB album, as good as it is.

This album reminds me of the disappointment I felt when While She Sleeps released their latest album 'You Are We'. Pretty similar really. Fantastic metalcore band release poppy/ radio friendly sing-along album that has a few good tracks but is mostly a dissapointment. Lets hope for the sake of modern metal that both bands get their act together. In my opinion, there's not many decent bands in this vein still releasing decent music. Good review by the way.

What are you on about? You are We isn't a poppy/radio friendly sing along album, and it's bloody brilliant.

While She Sleeps has never been anything but boring

And tbh I will never understand TOCS being someone’s fave Underoath, unless you just prefer your music more streamlined and easily digestible

I liked the releases prior to You Are We tbh, especially their first album
