“ Well this album is already better than anything ETID released so I'd say that's pretty safe.”
This album wouldn’t crack a top 5 ETID list

Nah.
This album is one of the best albums of the decade.
I agree this is par with anything ETID have ever done.

Only thing I could put above this is FPU. Even then I would call them equal.
Just love this to bits.

I dig these guys but they cannot touch ETID. I'd take this over like Last Night Out in Town and Gutter Phenomenon, and maaaaybe Low Teens, but every other ETID album puts this to shame.

This is gonna sound super cheesy, but man these guys just have that “it” factor. The quality and catchiness of their songs is consistent across the board. Not many bands can nail the huge range (softer song-heavier songs) like they do

I like ETID but I latched on to this way more than anything I have heard from them
Plus, I don't really think this album warrants that much of a comparison to them, like Cult America probably does
Oh well, both have got some pre great tunes so

True Ecnalzen. This is different from ETID and no where near a clone like some people make it out to be.
Echo and Dust part 1 is peak song writing and one of my favourite songs ever. I can't think of an ETID song that sounds like that.

Just had a full playthru with this for the first time in awhile. God damn this album fucks. Consistently great the whole way thru
Is this one of the best Metalcore albums of the last decade..?

It’s criminal that so few people know about this. They also suck at marketing their music, so it’s partly their fault

I dinno how popular they are/arent but They got 700k plays on Spotify. Echo dust has 2 million actually. That's a decent amount. If we want to talk about something truly criminal, it's Amia Venera barely cracking 50k plays.

Just depends on their business outside of spotify and thier compared with their record label deal i guess. spotify is a decent way to gauge popularity tho

Good points. I guess I meant relative to some of the other best metalcore albums of the last decade (I know this is subjective though)
I saw a few videos of them playing live and in each one they were slaying it in front of like 15 people lol. That irked me

Ya my perspective on what's popular is incredibly skewed towards Sput. In fact there's bands such as Like Moths and Kingdom of Giants who don't have reviews on here which signals to my brain that nobody even listens to them lol.
In general though I've always found it mind boggling how bands like BFMV and Asking Alexandria are so incredibly popular. And I don't mean it in that "you're not allowed to listen to catchy generic stuff" type of attitude, I enjoy plenty of that .... ... but why them tho lol.
