Well if that's enough for you to think that Sotelo is just the poor man's version of Rody Walker then who am I to argue. The first time I heard PTH I thought Walker was just a Cedric Bixler-Zavala ripoff. But I gave the band a chance and outgrew that uninformed opinion.

But yeah, his vocals in general turn me off but I've always enjoyed Misha's riffage.

If their new album sounds a lot like this new single, I will definitely acknowledge it as their first really good, maybe even great, album.
Would be pretty bonkers is Sumerian really played a role in not allowing them to cut loose for all these years.
I know Dillinger only released one album under them because they were unbearable to work with. Darket Hour also hated them.
