this album will never really be viewed as a classic by anyone who isn't a huge Drake fan already, I don't think time is gonna reveal anything new or interesting about this album

Drake could be the greatest rapper of all time if we're using popularity as a metric, but if we're talking songwriting, I don't really see him anywhere in a conversation. Take Care and IYRTITL are his too peaks and they aren't even particularly strong projects front to back. I'll admit the man has some fire singles though.

Nah its aging well plus I witnessed first-hand people bumping this who werent into him like that at all. This, Kendrick's DAMN, and Astroworld are all gonna be classics in due time. Tyler's Igor will probably be seen as one too in the near future.

It's a pop record dude. It's not hard to imagine people that aren't crazy about him listening to it. Like hundreds of millions of people hear Drake's stuff just by coincidence. I'm certainly not crazy about the dude and I've heard most of his projects just to have an opinion. DAMN was underwhelming af. Love. is a garbage pop track. Literally Kendrick's last 3 albums before that were all better. Astroworld just has great production, but I wouldn't call it anywhere near a classic. Hardly any bars on the whole record. IGOR was fantastic but I don't think it's "go down in history" good apart from a few tracks.

Rodeo is way better than Astroworld, and is already viewed as somewhat of a "classic" by some because of how influential it was

Look bruh you just gotta put your personal biases aside and realize all 4 of those classics will be seen as staples for the late 2010s. Shit you can add Carti's Die Lit to that list too tbh. They're all huge albums that people will remember and look back fondly at.
