yeah the final chorus actually gave me chills because of the unexpected anticipation.

Oh shit, I just noticed you have a shiny new contrib tag under your name. Congrats, Con!
But yeah, the final chorus/solo/climax of that song are just awesome. I feel like they tried to do it with Goodbye Angels on their latest album, but it's not quite the same, though the end of that song is pretty great.

I love the end of Goodbye Angels yea.

Aside from a few mediocre results of recapturing former glory, this is a very consistent and enjoyable double album. Abattoir Blues, The Wall, and this are how to make double albums.

Underrated album. Got some filler that drags it down, but the good songs are so damn good.

True that. Frusciante on guitar pretty much always guarantees greatness.

The Froosh albums are definitely their best, but the rest still have at least a few great tracks each too.

Just listened to the first disc for the first time and I'm confused to how this is anything other than excellent.

a bit too much extraneous material / a bit too long
if they trim the fat itd have been much better, as is my 4 feels generous

So give it the credit, but it is not much better than the credit you already give it
