CoL is certainly the beefier band, but sometimes they end up lumbering. I feel similarly about Amenra and later Efrafa. I think that's why Isis consistently keeps me coming back, while the others are a more occasional spin.

I struggle to get into post-metal in general and the CoL that I’ve tried kinda falls into a lot of the traps that I don’t love about the genre. I haven’t heard them all tho
