he can't review an album that even loosely falls into the genre of post hardcore without going on and on about how it used to be. his credibility goes right out the window cause he just trashes albums that aren't like "muh golden age post hardcore". clearly the post hardcore of the 90's is more intense than this, but he doesn't seem to get that band's aren't just retreading that sound
also evolving is a really relative term, meant just naturally-changing to fit better with the times
