I've said it before and I'll say it again. Into the Waves feels like leftovers that they told the girl she could sing on if she wanted. It's a bonus song for a reason and would not have fit in this track list, imo.

I never found into the waves to be amazing either honestly. Good song though.

This is such a blissful listen. Like Sigur Ros meets Slowdive. Wings / Opale is good, but the three songs that follow it are fantastic. And Into the Waves is one of their best songs. Floors me every time.

Yep it’s a serene listen for sure. I just wish the production was less muddy at certain points.

It’s really nice to listen to but it’s too fluffy for its own good. “Voix sereines” is the only one I go back to.

Délivrance is the only worthwhile track on here.

Lowering an Alcest rating is a sin. A SIN I tell you!

Been going on an Alcest binge, bumped my rating back up, aside from “Away” this is really good even if it is mostly discount Sigur Rós.

Closer to Slowdive tbh, but a bit of Sigur Ros is in there, yeah

To me the guitar tones and singing style (plus non-English lyrics) make it more reminiscent of Sigur Ros's poppy moments, there's certainly something of Slowdive in here too though (obviously, with the Neil Halstead feature, even though that song is probably Alcest's worst imo).

Still need to give Sigur Ros another shot. I only heard Med Sud when it came out and it bored me to tears. hat was uhhh 10 years ago though and it doesn't seem to be as revered as some of their others.

I love Away tbh. Such a beautifil guitar there, it's very nice.

I've been on a big Sigur Ros binge this past month and they're incredible. This came to my mind frequently while listening, especially when jamming the Med album. This is like a mix of the poppier Sigur Ros moments with Slowdive.
