this just doesn't have the same vibrant, fever dream, acid palette that the first three do. those albums are hazy sunrise colour washes and this is just a monotonous, muddled, depressive grey.
I share these feelings to an extent, but this is their most subtle and muted sounding; after multiple listens I find a lot of the qualities of their first three in here, especially tracks like New Seeds, Come to Dust, Palace Posy, Jacquard Causeway, and Nothing is Real.
