Damn. Had to ask though, couldn't tell if you were being serious or not lol. Not in a bad way or anything but yeah.
Only thing that bothers me about this record is the vocal effect. But that's more a minor annoyance, there's still an abundance of killer riffs and solos on every song.

search your feelings you know it to be true, my younglings'
Generally found this to be an age thing. Im old as fk and much prefer everything pre TSOP.Was never in love with that record. I wouldnt say its the 'worst death' as it doesnt seem fit. But least favourite sure.

it doesnt even have to be an age thing, just like the more dm you know the less likely u may be to enjoy it as much as the others imo

TSOP is my fav tbh and probably will stay that way. Probably because I'm more into prog metal than dm generally

Symbolic is my favorite just off of the fact that it was my introduction to metal and why I picked up the guitar. It'd take a lot of thinking for me to rank though. Amazing, consistent band

Not sure how old you are but I feel like I'm starting to get there myself. Time flies. Remember everyone used to think this was their weakest though. I always had a soft spot for this one

I've branched out a lot since my youth but I don't see myself ever growing out of the metal thing. It flows through my veins

Also, agreed on The Sound Of Perseverance. How a Death fan, or anyone with a heartbeat could possibly not think that album is stellar

I really feel like this album is terribly underrated and is personally one of my favorite DM albums. It's just so unique, everything from the cool Ed Repka cover art, the strange yet I think Perfect production by Eric Greif, the beautiful trade-off guitar solos between Chuck and James, and the super tight rhythm section especially how amazing I think Bill's drumming is on this album. He really stepped up his game from "Leprosy" and although he isn't a real "flashy" drummer like the ones who followed him I think his machine like precision and unique patterns gave him a signature style all his own and contributed greatly to the power and precision of "Leprosy" and "Spiritual Healing."

Album isn't as respected only because it gets stacked up against juggernauts like Symbolic and Human, which were a higher level of artistry and songwriting. To me part of what made those records so high level too were Gene Hoglan and Sean Reinart. Just amazing. Agreed this is still a great album though.
